It couldn’t have been the dozen drinks, it must have been the One Bad Oyster!
One Bad Oyster is a band assembled to celebrate the good life. Upbeat ska and surf tunes meant to be played at outdoor festivals, shoreline parties and venues during the best days of the year. Based out of Fairfield County, CT, this group of horn section supported musicians rip through upbeat classic and original ska tunes.
Original songs of exposition like “Gloria from Astoria”, “Drawn” and “Blonde Bombshell” are humorous, melodic and hook-laden takes on love gone wrong. These fellas don’t sing the blues, there’s plenty of that to go around.
OBO is a collective of journeymen musicians from NYC and CT, some in rotation based on availability. The band’s current goal is to play larger festivals and support national acts coming through the NY, CT and New England region.
Ska, Surf Happiness is the ethos and their Motto.
